Seventh, not enough blenders for such a busy place. Wendy's and McDonalds both pay above 10 dollars an hour. I got paid $7.25 an hour to work somewhere that was almost as busy as a place like Wendy's or McDonalds. Sixth, there were FIVE posters advertising that they were hiring for all positions above minimum wage. Don't worry, though, because there is no break room. He would also take screenshots of us working, especially the young teenage girls. He had six security cameras that were always running and he should just sit in the back and stare at them. Imagine walking around sounding like sponge bob everywhere you go. Third, it was sticky everywhere you went. I mean think about hearing hearing blenders, constantly for 20 hours a week. Second, I think I have had permanent hearing damage since I have worked here. He was also not very experienced for a manager. The manager tried to play the nice guy act but it was all a lie. That's enough with the positives, now here are the bad things about this job. I got to memorize several yummy smoothies to make at home. There were some good things about working here so let's start off with the positives. For example, closing we clean the entire store which is a lot of work. I work for 4-6 hour shifts and don't get breaks, as well as we are only paid minimum wage (7.25 per hour) The job is fast paced and you are almost always on your feet and busy, which is tiring and I really think that we should get paid a bit more for how much work we are putting in to the job. The only downsides to this job is that we don't get paid enough. Once you get the hang of things it flows really smoothly and I honestly have so much fun at this job. Each item has a place and it is kept organized which is really nice because I get anxiety about that stuff.
I also really like how things run really smoothly here. He is good about working around your schedule and helping you progress faster. My co-workers are super sweet and they are genuine friends that care about me which is huge. I try my best to be fast and productive and improve. I love making the smoothies and making people happy and serving them. I have been here for a couple of months and have enjoyed it.
